Children's Privacy Policy
This policy explains how counthis.app treats information about children, as required by the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
The Service is not for children
counthis.app is a tool for developers and site owners. It is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 16 years old to create an account or buy a subscription. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Badge views
When anyone, including a child, views a page with a counthis badge, our servers receive the request and count the view as described in our Privacy Policy: the address and browser type are reduced in memory to a temporary scrambled number and discarded after six hours. We do not identify, profile or contact viewers, and badges set no cookies.
If we learn a child gave us information
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, for example an account email address, we will delete it promptly and close the account. Account holders under the minimum age will have their accounts closed.
Parents
If you believe your child under 13 has given us personal information, email privacy@counthis.app. We will verify the request, tell you what we hold, and delete it at your request. You may also ask us to stop any further collection.
